Special Education Endorsements
For currently licensed general/special education teachers, we have three endorsements within our special education program.
Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education (EI/ECSE) Endorsement
Program Description: The Early Childhood special education endorsement is designed to provide evidenced-based training in how to teach young children with special needs in their home and preschool environments. Some courses are provided asynchronously, but others have a late afternoon start time (e.g., 5pm). Students can complete the program in 1 or 2 years and students may be able to complete their required practicum experiences at their workplace, while they are on the job. Applicant’s prior licensure program and experiences will be reviewed to ensure the exact program completed meets TSPC expectations.
