Master's Program
Over the course of study, master’s students complete course work with specific emphasis on understanding and helping underserved individuals and families.
Students in the program work closely with faculty members conducting research in areas such as:
- Academic achievement
- Biobehavioral health and neuroscience
- Community wellness
- Dissemination and implementation science
- Health disparities and equity promotion
- Interpersonal violence (domestic violence, child maltreatment)
- Intervention design and evaluation
- Mental health
- Obesity, eating behaviors, and physical activity
- Research design and methodology
- Risk behaviors (delinquency, sexual behavior, substance use)
- School-based health promotion
- Self-regulation
Doctoral Program
