University of Oregon College of Education Cohesive Learning Institutes 2025: Social Emotional Learning in the Classroom
In Winter and Spring of 2025, the UO College of Education is pleased to host a series of three learning institutes. This year’s Learning Institutes will be dedicated to expanding on culturally responsive teaching models, social emotional learning (SEL), and the principles of universal design.
The Institutes are open to teacher candidates in UO Educator Preparation programs: SPED (K12 and EI); UOTeach (Elementary and Middle/High); Music Education; School Psychology; the Cooperating professionals and Mentor teachers of our teacher candidates; the candidate's supervisors, faculty, and other support educators.
The following materials are provided to support the pre-reading and session activities for the upcoming Educator Equity Series hosted by the University of Oregon College of Education Winter and Spring 2025. Attendees can access reading materials here. Materials are organized according to their session date.
