Keith was born to deaf parents, he attended Wash State School for the Deaf (K-12). His wife, Lisa and 2 sons are all deaf and he is co-working with Chad (and son) who is also here in UO instructing ASL. He and Chad received MA in Sign Language Education at Gallaudet University during the same years. Keith has over 28 years of experience working with undergraduate students, most recently at Cal State Fresno, and in the Deaf community as a pastor at the Fresno Deaf Church. He will be teaching both first and second year ASL courses.
