What are you studying? I am a Graduate Student in the Masters in Curriculum and Teacher Education Program

Hobbies: Scrapbooking and making jewelry
Favorite place in Eugene: River Road/El Camino del Rio where I am currently completing my student teaching

Why did you choose UO and/or your program or major?

I chose the UOTeach program because it was an easy transition since I already knew many of my peers and professors from completing the Education Foundations program.

What is your most memorable experience at the College of Education?

The most memorable experience I have had in the College of Education would be in my EDST 645 class, Teaching Science: Detail and Discovery, where we got to study how to teach science to kids by completing science experiments.

What are your plans after graduation?

Well… first I have to get a job, but my plan is to teach here in Oregon!

What impact do you hope to make in your future career?

I hope to be able to inspire my future students and create an inclusive community where we can all learn from one another.

Do you have any advice for prospective students?

Make sure that you take care of yourself so that you are able to give your best. Also, get involved around campus, it is nice to get to meet other people!
