The College of Education provides awards for doctoral research projects. Projects need to be approved by students' dissertation committees. Award applications are open twice each year.

2017 Evelyn H. Bullock Fund for Communication Disorders & Science Research
DEADLINE: 5 PM, February 28, 2017
Graduate students who are making satisfactory progress toward completion of their graduate program are eligible to apply for this award. For 2017 academic year a total of $1,000 to $5,000 is available for support. Funds must be used for the purpose for which they are awarded. 2017-18 College of Education Scholarship Application
DEADLINE: 4 PM, February 1, 2017
The application process for 2017-18 scholarships from the COE is now closed. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship (http://financialaid.uoregon.edu) for information about other scholarships that may be available for the 2017-18 academic year.
The College of Education scholarship program provides a significant number of donor-supported awards to COE students. Most awards are from $1,500–$7,000. In 2016-17, approximately $670,000 was designated for student support.
Awards support various program areas for students ranging from the junior year to doctorate. Please see the 2017-18 scholarship list for information about available awards.
Students currently applying for a COE academic program but not yet accepted at the time of the deadline should still submit their scholarship application for consideration, pending acceptance into the program. Scholarship decisions will be made prior to the end of March 2017.
Students concurrently applying for a College of Education program, or those who have applied in the past can contact their academic administrator directly to request forwarding of official resumes and/or letters of recommendation used for program or graduate school application. Please have materials forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the federal processor no later than March 1, 2017. List the UO as one of your choices. The school code is 003223.
International students are eligible for COE scholarships and, while not required, are encouraged to establish financial need by submitting a financial resources form to the UO Office of International Affairs.
In addition to maintaining academic standing and serving as representatives of the college, students receiving COE scholarships are expected to meet the following obligations:
- Meet with the dean, development officer, and scholarship committee as requested
- Maintain contact with living donor
