Elizabeth "Betsy" Short, Family and Human Services
Betsy is graduating with her bachelor's degree from our Family and Human Services program.
She enjoyed her time in the FHS program, especially when students were able to invite their friends and showcase their work.
Betsy is passionate about serving children with disabilities and hopes to start her career working with kids in the juvenile system or helping kids of color.

Carli Feist, Communication Disorders and Sciences
Carli is graduating with her master's degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences. She is passionate about many clinical areas within the field, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), pediatric feeding, social communication, language development, instrumental swallowing assessments (MBSS and FEES), and cognitive communication. Carli is grateful for the clinical opportunities the College of Education provided, specifically group therapy sessions in the HEDCO Clinic or feeding premature infants at Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
After graduation Carli plans to pursue a clinical fellowship year to support communication and swallowing across the lifespan, with hopes to someday return to the schools and serve specialized classrooms in special education.

Mak Soller, School Psychology, Portland Campus
Mak is graduating with their Education Specialist (EdS) degree from the School Psychology program in Portland. Mak has enjoyed watching the evolution of the Portland campus during their time in the program, and loves watching the UO Portland community grow.
Following graduation, Mak is going to continue to serve the Portland area as a licensed school psychologist in the Evergreen Public School District.
