The COE offers the following competitive scholarship and award opportunities:
Due: February 9, 2024. Various awards ranging from $1,500-$10,000.
Rolling due date until April 5, 2024. Up to $3,000 in funding for students with an approved dissertation.
COE Doctoral Student Conference Awards
Rolling due date until Dec 31, 2023. Up to $750.
COE Scholarships
We provide a number of scholarship and funding opportunities in an effort to offer students support in pursuing their degrees and professional futures by removing as many barriers to those goals as possible. Students currently applying for a COE academic program, but not yet accepted at the time of the deadline, should still submit their scholarship application for consideration, pending acceptance into the program. We use one common application that will automatically enter you into consideration for any scholarships for which you meet selection criteria.

- The Logan Scholarship will provide support to incoming freshman majoring in pre-education.
- Logan graduate scholarships are competitive and awarded by applying through the COE scholarship application.

Many of our scholarships are based on financial need, so it is important for you to complete the Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) by the federal deadline. Submit the University of Oregon as your university of choice. Our code is 003223.

International students and those not able to file a FAFSA are eligible for College of Education scholarships and, while not required, are encouraged to establish financial need by submitting a financial resources form to the Office of International Affairs.
Dreamer students including students who have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status or Temporary Protected Status (TPS) as well as other undocumented students who are ineligible to submit a FAFSA may submit an Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA), which is an alternative to the FAFSA.
Cost of Attendance
Cost of attendance is the estimated cost to attend the UO for the academic year. The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships provides estimates for cost of attendance information that goes beyond tuition and fees, and includes: living expenses (housing and food), books/supplies/equipment, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses.
