Jayme Sloan

Biography
Jayme is the medical externship coordinator for the Communication Disorders and Sciences graduate program and clinical supervisor in the Clinic for Acquired Adult Language and Motor Speech Disorders (CAALMS). She has clinical assessment and treatment experience with adult populations across a variety of settings. Her clinical passion is working with the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities. She enjoys working with adults with dysphagia, language and motor speech disorders and cognitive impairment. In addition to direct interventions, Jayme also has experience in a leadership role of a multi-disciplinary therapy team. She is certified in SPEAK OUT! and ASHA’s National Outcomes Measurement System (NOMS).
