Jayme is the Medical Externship Coordinator and is responsible for placing graduate student clinicians at their full-time medical externships. She has clinical assessment and treatment experience with adult populations across a variety of settings. Her clinical passion is working with the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities. In addition to direct interventions, Jayme also has experience in a leadership role of a multi-disciplinary therapy team. She has worked in a variety of skilled nursing facilities within Eugene/Springfield as well as in a private clinic setting working with adults with dysphagia, language and motor speech disorders and cognitive impairment. She is certified in SPEAK OUT! and ASHA’s National Outcomes Measurement System (NOMS). Jayme has been a clinical supervisor in the Clinic for Acquired Adult Language and Motor Speech Disorders (CAALMS) since 2018.
