Mariah was raised in the Greater Los Angeles, California area. As a first generation student, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of California, Merced and received her Master of Arts in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University. While at Bowling Green State University, she worked with the living learning community for students with a passion for art. After graduating with her masters, she spent 9 months working as an admissions representative for the University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to working at the University of Oregon, Mariah worked with Arizona State University in Residential Life working with first-year students and overseeing community management.
Mariah is excited to serve as an Administrative Assistant to the Deans. Mariah supports Dianna Carrizales-Engelmann, Assistant Dean for Administration & Director for Equity and Inclusion; Lillian Duran, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs; Julie Wren, Assistant Dean for Accreditation & Assessment; and John Seeley, Associate Dean for Research.
