Peter Angstadt, PhD, has agreed to serve as Southern Oregon University’s interim Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA), beginning June 3. Peter earned his doctorate in educational policy and management from UO.
A SUSD release said Bare has been an educator for over twenty years. She grew up in Portland, graduating from the University of Oregon with a Master’s in Education in 2001.

Cory Mainor, BA ’05 (English), MEd ’09 (teaching and learning), is currently an assistant principal at Arlington Public Schools in the Washington, DC area. In his current role, he is focused on implementing a culture that seeks equity in student achievement and establishes community with various educational stakeholders.
Josh Davis from Ridgeview High School was named Oregon ACTE New CTE teacher of the year for his computer science program. Josh received his MEd in Educational Policy Management and his Middle/Secondary Education Certificate in 2000.
Waldorf University announced the hiring of Thomas Goodman as its new Women's Soccer Head Coach. Goodman earned his Bachelor of Arts in Educational Foundations from the University of Oregon in 2013.
Jorge Arena, BEd, '15, FHS, is the Youth Empowerment and Violence Prevention Program Manager for Latino Network. Jorge received a bachelor’s in Family and Human Services from the University of Oregon.
Kerry Frazee, PhD, '20, Prevention Science is the administrator of 4J's new unit called Prevention Services. Dr. Frazee and 4J are committed to the health and well-being of ALL 4J students.
Tiffany Brown, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Director in the COE's Couples and Family Therapy graduate program. Tiffany holds both a BS in Psychology and Sociology and a MEd in Couples & Family Therapy from the University of Oregon.
Dr. Michelle Ericksen is a medicine woman, teacher, researcher and coach. With a graduate degree in education from Stanford, a PhD from the University of Oregon and years of experience in ritual work, her background in academia is interconnected with current work in healing practices.
