By default, all FHS students are admitted into the Prevention Science (PS) emphasis. This area emphasizes the skills necessary for choosing and evaluating preventative interventions you might implement as a human services professional.  Students who pursue the PS emphasis, will focus on the design, evaluation, and delivery of interventions aimed at reducing risk and enhancing protective factors in children, youth, and families, and building resilient communities.
