Dr. Kelly is taking 1-2 students in counseling psychology and/or prevention science for the upcoming 2018-2019 academic year.

Dr. Kelly is an Assistant Professor in the Counseling Psychology and Human Services Department, as well as the Prevention Science Institute. She is also a Research Collaborator with the Section on Growth and Obesity (SGO) at the National Institutes of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). Dr. Kelly’s research interests are in obesity and eating behavior, with foci in cognitive and emotional mechanisms for disinhibited eating, measurement and multicultural issues, and clinical intervention and prevention. Her research assumes a developmental perspective, investigating the eating behavior of and clinical programming for youth, adults, and families.
