Angela Whalen, Ph.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor/Practicum Coordinator and the Co-Director of Training in the School Psychology Program. Dr. Whalen currently teaches courses in professional ethics, principles and practices of school psychology, foundations of clinical supervision, and school- and community-based practicum. Since joining the School Psychology Program faculty in 2003, she has served in a variety of roles, including COE Assistant Dean for Academic Programs & Student Services from 2012-14. Dr. Whalen has taught a wide range of School Psychology courses in the areas of professional practice, academic and behavioral assessment, school consultation, and RtI/problem-solving.  Dr. Whalen is a nationally certified school psychologist, with experience working in K-12 public school settings as a school psychologist, staff development trainer, and data/literacy coach.
