I received my PhD from the University of Minnesota in 2008 and subsequently held a one-year postdoctoral position that was shared between the Human Developmental Psychobiology Lab (with Megan R. Gunnar) and the Minnesota Study of Risk and Adaptation (with Byron Egeland and Alan Sroufe).
Professor Viegas has an extensive background in Juvenile and Adult Justice systems. He has served as a Juvenile Court Counselor, an Adult Corrections Counselor and as a Protective Service Supervisor. He conducted Juvenile Justice courses over a period of 30 years.
Claudia Vincent is a Senior Research Assistant and Data Analyst who currently holds appointments with the Institute on Violence and Destructive Behavior and the Center on Equity Promotion at the College of Education, University of Oregon.
Heidi Von Ravensberg currently serves as community outreach liaison for two school-based functional behavioral assessment research projects.
