Research Opportunities for Students

Students who attend the University of Oregon find themselves in one of the top applied educational research centers in the world. The nationally-recognized faculty in the Educational Methodology, Policy, and Leadership (EMPL) and throughout the College of Education direct projects that are on the cutting edge of applied research in education.

EMPL faculty are active research scientists with varied research interests and programs. The faculty may involve doctoral students on their research teams and provide opportunities for mentoring in the research process and supervision for thesis and dissertation research by students. Contact individual faculty to learn about opportunities related to their particular areas of research.
