Biography

As an immigrant to the United States herself, Kylie strives to help international students and scholars navigate their academic life and achieve their goals at the University of Oregon and beyond. Since 2013, she has been involved with various international programs, projects and grants under the umbrellas of College of Education and the Division of Global Engagement.  Kylie has coordinated the visits of numerous delegations of scholars and students from several countries including China, Pakistan, Thailand, Australia and Saudi Arabia. Her work has promoted mutual understanding of educational systems, faculty teaching and research partnership, student exchanges and other educational cooperation between the University of Oregon and its global peers.

Prior to her work at the University of Oregon, Kylie was with a Portland-based equity research firm managing its Asia market research products and consultant network.

Kylie holds an MBA in Marketing and Innovation Management from Portland State University and an MA in English Linguistics from Hebei University, China. She enjoys travelling, cooking, teaching her children Mandarin and arts, and exploring the beautiful fields of Oregon with her family.
