2014-15 Annual Report for the UO College of Education

Dear Education Colleagues,

Owing to hard work and good fortune, we have experienced yet another rewarding year of instruction, research, and outreach in the College of Education at the University of Oregon. As the annual report attached indicates, our ability to do good work is dependent on the effectiveness of our partnerships, especially those with our like-minded colleagues at other educational and related institutions. Through both collaboration and competition, our colleagues encouraged us to better serve children, schools, families, and communities. As this report (click image at right or here—right-click to download—PDF, 7.5MB) notes, our collaborators are both near and far, ranging from the Federated States of Micronesia to the GIZ: Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (German Agency for International Collaboration). They include numerous higher education collaborators at institutions such as the University of California at Los Angeles, University of Delaware, University of Connecticut, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Vanderbilt University to name but a few. In addition, our faculty worked with agencies of great variety, with the Sheppard Pratt Health System of Maryland, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Institute of Education Sciences, and the U.S. Department of Interior among them.

To me, our annual report, among other purposes, serves as a note of gratitude. To that end, and on behalf of our faculty, staff, students, donors, and other stakeholders, I thank you.

Sincerely yours,
Randy Kamphaus
Dean
