Strong Global Communities: International Conference on Prevention Implementation

The goals of the conference are to bring together the most pressing challenges and promising practices for international prevention efforts. The University of Oregon’s Center for Equity Promotion, along with University of Washington’s Partners for our Children and the international development organization Deutsche Gesellschaft fϋr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), are the hosts of the two-day international conference. Attendance is an opportunity for international prevention scientists, scholars, students, practitioners, and community members from education, health, and social service sectors to share and learn about the processes and challenges of developing and implementing family, school, and community-based interventions for use in international contexts with vulnerable populations.

The conference takes place at the Ford Alumni Center April 28 and 29.  For more information please click here to visit the conference website.
