overview:
Ethnic Diversity Affairs Committee (EDAC)

The Ethnic Diversity Affairs Committee (EDAC) is a College of Education committee consisting of students, faculty, and staff. EDAC was established as a means of addressing the diverse needs of graduate students of color within the college. While support for students of color has always been central to EDAC's identity, the group has also focused on advocacy and awareness-raising activities within the college. These activities are inextricably linked to our ultimate mission of supporting students of color.

Activities:
• Poster Event May 8, 2009, Register by April 22
• Equal Opportunity: Diaspora & Immigration
• EDAC's Annual Report (PDF) 2005–6
• February 2006 Collegewide Diversity Report (PDF)
• EDAC's 2004 Call to Action (PDF) as presented to COE administration.

Are you a current or prospective student of color, and/or a student interested in multicultural issues, support, and advocacy? If so, check out EDAC's list of activities and accomplishments.
