Programs in Counseling Psychology and Human Services educate and train professionals in counseling psychology, family and human services, and couples and family therapy. Professionals are trained to effectively and collaboratively identify, treat, and prevent psychological problems in children, adolescents, and adults. Field placements, practicum placements and internships provide opportunities for students to practice in school, community agencies, and clinical settings under the supervision of faculty and agency personnel.

• The Counseling Psychology (CPSY) doctoral program has been continuously accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association (750 1st St. NE, Washington DC 20002-4242, 202.336.5979) since 1955. Degree: Doctoral
