Education Studies
Education Studies Department licensure and degree programs prepare professionals to use the best of research-based practices to teach children and adult learners. Undergraduate StudiesThe undergraduate major leads to a bachelor of arts degree (B.A.), bachelor of science degree (B.S.), or bachelor of education degree (B.Ed.). through the Educational Foundations (EDF) Program Graduate StudyOne of Education Studies graduate programs leads to a teaching license, appropriate subject-matter endorsements, and a master's degree (M.Ed.) with a major in Curriculum and Teaching. The major has two specializations: If you have a Teaching License and want to earn a Masters degree, you can apply for our M.S. in Curriculum and Teacher Education. Licensed teachers can also participate in our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)program which leads to a state-approved add-on endorsement for ESOL or ESOL/Bilingual education. Education Studies also offers a PhD program in Critical and Socio-Cultural Studies in Education.
