Recruitment, retention, advocacy and support  for students and faculty of color in the College of Education. 

Our Mission
We are a community of College of Education students and faculty united in the common values of diversity and multiculturalism. We illustrate our dedication to these values through
• Outreach to ethnic minorities on campus and in the community
• Recruitment and retention of ethnic minority students and faculty
• Advocacy for multiculturalism in education
• Networking and supportive interaction with fellow ethnic minority students, faculty, and professionals

Our Goals
The primary goals of the Ethnic Diversity Affairs Committee are
• To recruit students of color
• To retain and support students of color by developing a sense of community
• To advocate for students of color
• To promote efforts which increase multicultural awareness within the College of Education
