Sapsik’^walá Advisory Council
Dave is the executive assistant president at the University of Oregon. He came to the University of Oregon in 1978 to coordinate the Student Learning Center. He coordinated the Student Support Services (Trio Program) from 1985 to 1993. He joined the president's senior staff in 1991.

He holds a B.A. in history from the University of California, Davis, 1971. He went on to obtain a M.A. in European history in 1973 and a Ph.D. in American history at the University of Oregon in 1988, where he studied the history of psychometrics and the history of the SAT.
