There are no dues or fees required to join the NSU so please come in to the office and enjoy a cup of coffee and some friendly people. We can help you decide what classes you might enjoy and which instructors might work well for you. You will find that if you need help or have questions in common subjects like math and English, there is usually someone hanging around that can answer some of your questions or give you that extra boost to help refresh your memory. Provides academic advising and related services to all students. It is a place where students can sit down with an adviser one-on-one and discuss their individual concerns and questions. OAA serves all students, especially those who have not yet decided on an academic major. Assistance is provided to help students make the best possible use of academic resources and to facilitate academic progress and success. Students can call or come in as often as needed. Students qualify for SSS based on federally defined criteria: socioeconomic backgrounds and academic needs. This includes students who meet low-income qualifications, students whose parents did not graduate from a four-year college, or individuals who have documented physical or learning disabilities. SSS funding is limited. The Counseling Center Testing office is responsible for the administration, scoring, and maintaining of records for a wide range of tests administered to students at the University of Oregon. The testing office works closely with the student population by disseminating information, advising students, and administering exams.
