Kelly LaChance the education director for the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua, working in Roseburg. She is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz. She received her bachelor of science degree in social science with minors in Native American studies and women's studies from Southern Oregon University in 1996. She is currently working on her master's degree in education at Colorado State University.
