Jeff Todahl

Jeff Todahl is a Research Associate and Assistant Professor of Couples and Family Therapy in the Counseling Psychology and Human Services Department at the University of Oregon. He is a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). His research interests include domestic violence assessment and intervention, community-based sexual and domestic violence prevention, trauma healing and couples therapy.

He has served as an external evaluator for KidSafe and Kids First Safe Alternatives Center, and is a primary investigator with the Trauma Healing Project’s Survivor Voices study. He has served on numerous statewide violence prevention committees and as a research consultant to the Oregon Attorney General’s Sexual Assault Task Force. He is the co-author of /Solution Based Casework: An Introduction to Clinical and Case Management Skills in Casework Practice/, has authored numerous chapters and peer-reviewed research publications, and is involved in several local initiatives to coordinate community-based services in an effort to reduce sexual, physical and emotional violence.
