Krista Chronister is a faculty member in the Counseling Psychology doctoral program. Her research focuses on a broad range of issues related to domestic violence including: implementation and evaluation of community-based domestic violence preventive interventions, and in particular vocational counseling interventions; adolescent and adult survivors' vocational development; early adult relationship adjustment; and immigrant mental health.

These areas of research have led to the development and experimental examination of a career counseling intervention program for women domestic violence survivors, and development of career assessment instruments designed specifically for women survivors.
